This wtkernel component, is it very important to have it? Do I need to re-install it again? Where do I get it?

Take a look at this post and see if it helps. (Credit to Joshuacat)

BC post RE: wtkernel

wtkernel may be a file from WildTangent.

Hope this helps,

If it is Wild Tangent, it is a component of their game programs (AOL uses it) and unnecessary.

Wild Tangent has been accused of being spyware because it transmits info on the games played, so if it is spyware it isn't the malicious kind.

Unless you care about the games it is connected to, see if Wild Tangent is in your add/remove programs list and remove it.
