Hi community,
I installed Vista yesterday, everything was fine.
But, when I boot the PC with XP it always says a network cable isn't connected.
The on Board LAN card doesn't work anymore.
When I switch to Vista it works. Really crazy.
I tried many things to solve the problem, like uninstalling the driver or siwthing the card off in the BIOS... nothings helps.
I know use WLAN to connect to my router, works ok, but I want to use the on board LAN again.
Anybody got ideas?
HELP ;)
Alex

Fixed it. For those who may suffer the same fate, do as follows:
1. Pull the power plug from your PC for a good 30 seconds. It seemed to reset the onboard LAN and give me two LED's back on the LAN input.
2. Go to your router. I found my internet connection had been disconnected. Vista does something to the router, as it kills my internet connection after every time I use it.
Hope this helps someone...
