Hello everyone. My name is SweetnLow. I've been a computer addict for about 9 years now. I've never done anything huge. Just surf the web, watch videos, play games, the like. This past summer, I graduated from High School and I received an Alienware laptop built to my specifications as a graduation present. Even more recently, I've upgraded to Win7 because everyone promised that the magical leprechauns would make everything I hate about Windows go away. Sadly, it did not. In the last year or two, I've grown increasingly more agitated with computers, and I don't think I can have faith in them much longer. They make problems for themselves, break themselves, and break themselves even more when they try to fix themselves. My friend thinks I'm asking too much of my computer. I really don't think consistency, reliability, and simplicity are very lofty goals for computer manufactures to shoot for.

My computer has the following specs:
-Alienware M17x running Win7
-2.8 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
-4 GB DDR3 RAM
-Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M SLI
-IDT Integrated Audio

Really, I just came here to find someone who would hear me rant. Thanks.

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
