hi, i dont know much about computers so i would really appreciate your help! I recently bought a firewire card for my laptop as it has no integrated firewire port, so I can capture footage from a mini dv camera. My problem is that as soon as I slide the card in the computer, the computer freezes. I tried to slide it in when the computer is shut down and then start it, but it freezes while starting. The card I have says its "plug and play" and it says that its compatible with vista (wich is the OS i have).
My computer is an Acer aspire5630 ( not too sure about all the specs) and this is the card i bought dynex dx-pc202
Hope you guys can help me out with this! Thanks a lot!

why won't my laptop work?
Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
