BleepingComputer.com: blank yahoo mail composer icon boxes

At one point all the icons were working and displaying properly but it has been quite a while now since the icon boxes bacame blank. I am able to use some editing options and all the emoticons (but can't see any of them, except for the text description when I scroll ove the icons). Is there any connection between these and Microsoft Office? Mine is not installed proprerly but I never thought about a possible connection before. ANY help that sheds some light will be a wonderful Christmas treat. Thank you in advance.
