Hey all, I'm trying to install Wine, which is a program for Linux so that you can run Window programs. Anyway I got it downloaded, but it would not install. Has any else here tried to install it and what did you do?

It would be helpful to know which distro you are using. Use the following link to get started.

http://ftp.winehq.org/pub/wine/docs/en/wineusr-guide.html

I'm using the Ubuntu 9.10 and I finally figured out how to get Wine to work. But I am having a problem in getting the Adobe Reader installed for FireFox. I have it downloaded, but I can't seem to get it to install. Any suggestions there?

Type the following at the command line:

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-installer

Adobe flash should now work in Firefox 3.5.5
