BleepingComputer.com: uninstalling CoD2

I have found that there were a few faulty files within the CoD2 folder. I tried to completely uninstall the game, but it doesn't work. The folder in the C is gone, the folder in Regedit is gone. but the game is still in the Start/programs/activision folder.

I am assuming this is the problem because if I try to reinstall the game, it tells me my CD Key is invalid. Probably because it's not completely uninstalled.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. In the end, turned out that my printer was not printing the little tail on the Q. I was putting an O for cd key....
