For many years I have used Outlook Express without any problems. Today, suddenly, my Folders (listing Inbox, Sent Delete and the "special" ones have disappeared.) I can find them but it involves clicking and I much prefer my old system. where they all appeared on the left hand side.

Please, is there a way I can get them back.? i thought System Restore would solve the problem but, for some reasom, I cannot "get back in time". System refuses!

I have checked for viruses/spyware but all seems well.

My thanks for any advice you can offer.

Windows XP
Internet Explorer 8

Is the folders pane showing on the left hand side and it's empty?
Is it just not there at all?
Where are you finding the folders?

Have you already done this, if the folders pane isn't showing at all?
Open OE.
Click on the drop down arrow next to Inbox on the top left-hand side.
If the folders list opens, and your folders are there, click the push-pin to keep it open.

The folders panel was not there at all and I thought I had to click on File etc to get to the various categories.

THANKS TO YOU, Queen -Evie, all is now SOLVED. I clicked on the arrow, held it open and used the "pin" on the right hand side, Result: All back to normal.

I am MOST GRATEFUL.
