Ok. So, I've installed Ubuntu 9.10 on my host computer... Now, how can I get an internet connection to work? I have a cable modem, that is using DOCSIS 2.0 technology. Modem is connected via USB (to computer), and my ISP is using DHCP addressing (with DNS servers included). That's all I know at this time... Anyone to help me out?
Thanks,

P.S. Ask for additional info., if needed.

Hi,
Ok, so you have your computer connected to the router by usb, is that the only connector that you have on your computer? Is it possible to connect your modem and computer by ethernet cable, or don't you have an ethernet port on your computer.
Also can you tell us what you have for a computer so that we might be able to look up specs for it.
Cheers!
