Hi.

I have two VMs, one of openSUSE, and one of Kubuntu. As of now I'm installing openSUSE, and I have to install Kubuntu. I just want to know, how much RAM and hard disk space should I give each of them? I have enough disk space to go around, and I have 3 gigs of RAM (1GB of physical, 2GB-3GB of Virtual.) I'm running Sun Virtualbox on Windows XP SP3.

512MB of RAM w/ at least 10GB of HDD space for each VM should be comfortable. 1gig of RAM may slow things down, though; you should upgrade if you plan on running them both simultaneously.

If you can't upgrade now, you can follow each OSes' minimal RAM requirements: 256MB for openSUSE and 384MB for Kubuntu.
