Security Update for Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer 2003 (KB949041)
Hi, I keep getting the above update,but since I do not have powerpoint 2003 it fails to install.
I have tried Custom install and selected "Do not Show Update Again" option all to no avail,the update still tries to install every time I shutdown computer.
Any solution would be appreciated. I am running XP Home,SP3 with Word 2002 and Microsoft Works 2002

That update has been replaced by KB956500. You can download it manually and install it.
You can also try to uninstall Power Point Viewer from Control Panel > Add Remove Programs.
Make sure the folder "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\PowerPoint Viewer" is not present after uninstalling. If it exists, try to rename it.
