Currently I have 3 browsers on my computer, I am running a HP media center with windows XP. The problem stems from some kind of what appears to be a Alexa IP address inserted into the img tag on the source of any web page I view with a image and the tag to call it out. I have both IE and Firefox that both exhibit this behavior, Google Chrome does not. What happens is when a page is loading the browser goes to the Alexa IP and slows the process down of loading the page. The IP range is 10.176.80.151 throught 10.176.80.154 When viewing the source code on any page with an img tag this IP is inserted infront of the location the the HTML code uses to find the image. As you can see this is the source from this page <img src="http://10.176.80.153/img.bleepingcomputer.comm/navbars/forums-navbar.gif" border="0" title="Computer Help and Spyware Removal" alt="Computer Help and Spyware Removal" usemap="#home_navbar_Map">.
I have tried the various tools from malwarebytes to spybot S&D to GMER and DDS and combofix with no results. Is there something I am missing? It is slowing my page loads down when doing website work making me crazy. Thanks for any help.
Rick
