Define better:

What do you plan too use the computer for?

They are both good computers but I woulden't personally buy a mac unless I plan on doing plenty of video editing, me being a struggling programmer I would stay with a PC but it all depends on your personal usage.

Depends on what programs you use for work, if you ask me. If you don't want too leave MS Office, there is a mac version for it. I don't know if you use any other special programs. So its still a toss up.

I would choose the HP Pavilion, but I must say that I am partial to Windows.
