One of the reasons I chose Google as my search engine was that I could design the home page to my taste. Personally, I like an uncluttered home page. This has been fine for a couple of years now. Then, the other day out of nowhere, a left hand column appears with Home and Chat tabs.

How do I delete these annoying tabls? I don't want them. I don't need them. They're throwing out my design.

I use IE 6.

Edit: Moved topic from XP to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

You should upgrade to IE8. That would possibly help the problem.
