Cannot find appmgmts !

Hi there, i have just recently found out about winpatrol, sad man i hear you all saying, but the thing is here is my question !
I clicked on Services Tab and in there i have a service running
Title appmgmts Command svchost.exe app... Company Empty Status Empty Startup 0anual
WTH is this and is it safe or is this some dodgee service that i need to stop when i right click on it its listed C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\APPMGMTS.DLL but when i search for it within Sytem32 there's no sign of that particular folder in there !
Can anyone explain please !

This service processes software installation, removal and enumeration through Group Policy. This is a valid MS service.
You should be able to locate the file c:\windows\system32\appmgmts.dll

Hi there romeo29 i cannot locate the file c:\windows\system32\appmgmts.dll it's just not there !

I have Vista SP2 32 bit and I can see that file.
You may want to do a repair install as mentioned here : http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-re...tall-vista.html
