Hello. I'm trying to upgrade my graphics card to an Nvidia 9800 GTX+. I know I need a new power supply with a minimum of 450w and with two 6pin pci-e connectors. Something like this I'm guessing..?
http://www.compusa.com/applications/search...p?EdpNo=4256924

But is that all I need?

Here are my specs:

Compaq Presario

Model: SR5550F
Processor: AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5400+ (2 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory: 3.00 GB
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430

Here's an official link to my comps specs:

Any help will be much appreciated, thanks.

If you notice there is no mention in the specs of what power supply came with your computer. You can open it up and look. You could run it on a 450 P/S of quality but My self I would go to a 650 of quality. The 9800GTX + is a great card but it needs a good smooth power supply and IMHO a $35.00 P/S just isn't good enough. Corsair, PC Power and Cooling, Antec,Cooler Master,ThermalTake are just a few brands to check out.
PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610W Power Supply - Black (S61EPS) would be a nice pick for around $100.00
