Last month when my BitDefender Internet Security subscription was about to expire I decided to evaluate some of the free anti-spyware/virus software on the market. My system generally
seemed to be running real slow - I assumed it was the resources BD was eating up. I tried Avira, Avast, PcTools Spyware Doctor & Antivirus, G Data, Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes and Sunbelt Vipre. I'm currently still running Sunbelt Vipre (the least resource hog of them all). They each found infestations that the others had not (now THAT'S scary!)- at least a dozen in total! Trojans, rootkits, & adware. (I'm sorry I didn't write them down..) I'm concerned that I may still be infected. Can someone help me find out if my system is finally clean (and then tell me how to keep it clean!!)??
