Remote Desktop Remote Connections thru Windows XP Professional

Hi can anyone tell me how to use remote connection? We have one guy in Austin that used to remote into our windows server 2003 until it crashed last week.... Now I have him using logmein on a desk top with Windows XP Professional, I really don't know how to use the remote connection in windows xp professional, so if someone would be kind enough to give me an little help I would appreciate it.
