Hi all and I seem to run into this forum alot from searching for fixes for my computer so I thought I would join and here is my problem err well not really a problem but something is not right.

I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium and it works good for me but for some reason in Windows Explorer all the protected system folders and files are showing and if I tick the "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" in folder options in the control panel it does nothing so I was wondering if I can fix this I haven't installed and messed with anything I can remember and virus scan shows nothing ? I use windows explore a lot and all the extra folders and stuff makes it harder to navigate.

Thanks
