For the past couple of weeks, I've been getting Adobe Update notices for Adobe Illustrator CS3. Each time I tried to install the update, it failed. So in a boneheaded move, I completely uninstalled Adobe CS3. Now, every time I try to install off the DVD, it says the installation failed, and I'm left with Adobe Creative Suite without the latest version of Illustrator. A call to Adobe customer service suggested I take off every instance of a creative suite installation off my computer. The problem with that is, I have no guarantee that I won't have a problem installing CS3 again, and I can't afford that risk.
