So I bought Evil Genius, and I had the crazy idea that perhaps I'd actually like to play it instead of just letting it take up space on my hard drive. I know, crazy.

Anyhow, when I launch the game the loading screen comes up and then... nothing. The progress bar doesn't move and eventually (sometimes sooner rather than later) the entire system freezes. I have to hit the good ol' reset button to proceed.

Google is somewhat less than revealing on this issue as most results for "evil genius freezes" are about Steve Jobs. mad.gif

I've e-mailed the support people at the company where I purchased the game but have yet to receive a reply.

Funny thing is, it works perfectly on my office computer. I can't fathom why it won't on my home computer since my home computer is superior in most respects to my office computer.

Anyone have any suggestions?
