ok I have this odd error on my ES Oblivion GoTy-ed..... and I use vista (like the name suggests)

I have downloaded all the patches (the updates... not the "official addons") yet for some reason even after doing that, sometimes, or I should say most of the time heh, I have an odd error where if I look up/left I will see my comps basic mouse, the one my PC uses not the game one, will be shown. the most lame thing is, if I click, use an item, jump, or anything exept move (walk/run/sneak) the game will minimize. sometimes it will error like I normaly minimized it, sometimes (if I act fast nuff) the game will still respond normaly. is there anyway to fix this? Im only useing the CM partners mod and afew item mods (non-cheat items.. ust basic ones) I need help on this

Hi,

I would start by reinstalling all the patches, and remove all the mods that you have installed. If that you stop having the problem then install one patch at a time, and try playing the game. Make sure that you do a restart between installing each patch. Once you make sure that all the patches are ok you can try and install your mods, but make sure you restart between each install. I think that you will find that one of the mods is the problem but we will see.

Cheers!

Could this be the game trying to crash back to the desktop and going back to Windows properly? I've had a similar issue with other titles. Oblivion and Fallout 3 both use the GameBryo engine which is notorious for its buggyness.
