Do I need HP Update?

Hi all,

Maybe a simple question here, I have a Packard Bell pc 6 weeks old and I have noticed HP Updater and hpsu360stub are running.
The strange thing is I do not have an HP printer or ever had on on this pc.
Has it come down with a vista security update on perhaps it was pre installed on the pc?
Anyway, is it safe to uninstall them?

hi,,,,hp updater is usually installed on hp machines to keep here software and drivers for there hardware up to date,,, i always turn it off,,,, uninstall if you like, makes no difference to the machine :huh:
