Will a computer with a 64 bit processor run standard software? Also will a 64 bit computer in a simple network communicate with other 32 bit computers with no issues? Thanks in advance for any help

if you mean by standard software = 32 bit software then yes
it can run 64 bit software only if you install 64 bit operating system like Windows 64 bit
it can do networking with 32 bit computers too yes.
