Hi,

I have been seeing a weird problem with Windows XP SP2.
The Tooltip shown for the task bars is shown in Bold font. [i.e. Move the mouse on any taskbar bar and see the tooltip, it's shown in bold] This is very annoying, and I extensively searched Microsoft website for this error.

I tried changing it in Display Properties > Appearance, but it did not work.

Has anybody faced such a problem and has a known solution to it? Please do share.

Let me know if I should put in any more details.

Thanks, in advance!
Sagar

Nopes, as I mentioned, this option did not help... See the attached screenshot.

Please clarify.

Are you saying that when you go to Appearance / Advanced and select Tooltip from the Item dropdown box,
any changes you attempt to make, do not work, or do you not even see the options.
