rhino

1. Analog modem.
2. ISDN.
3. DSL (through LAN cable) / Cable modem.
4. DSL on wireless LAN (WLAN).
5. Other LAN connection (not DSL).

==> SO WHICH IS?

:thumbsup: *** I'm planning to auto-optimize it with Ashampoo WinOptimizer 2009 Advanced *** :huh:

OK, since it's a cable modem, I'll take a chance and pick the one that says "cable modem".
Pleased to have been a Microsoft MVP (Windows Desktop Experience) 2007/8, 2008/9

I pressed F5, and I'm feeling refreshed...

The Motorola modem is what it states...a cable modem for users like me who have a cable connection for Internet and/or phone.

I have one, courtesy of Time-Warner.

You might want to learn how to use Google for such things, just a suggestion...Google is probably faster than asking in a forum.

Are these Homework questions?

You sure, garmanma? Why's it called cable modem then? :huh:

P.S. You've picked it, cause of "DOCSIS 2.0" mentioned? Really unsure now... but connection has improved.
P.P.S. It says (in the program), that I shouldn't use this function, if the computer, that I'm optimizing - will be used as a home server, for example. Heh... guess what, it will be used this way. So, should I reverse changes? :thumbsup:

Grrr, (angry),
rhino
