My Dad has royally messed up his computer. Before I tell him to reinstall windows, I thought I would check here.
Internet Explorer works sporadically. It's a wonder it works at all. When you do Help/About no version is listed.
When you try to install Internet explorer, it won't install.
I think he tried to uninstall it. He doesn't like IE, but I know that's a bad idea because it's an integral part of the OS, so that was not a smart move.
He's on XP. He's also 1,000 miles away, so it's not too easy to look at his computer and tell you the config.
Ask the questions you need answered and I'll get on using logmein and try to answer.
