Hello, im having a problem with loading some pages on the web, some will load super fast others will load snail slow or not at all, it's a hit and miss on what pages load it's different every time. I have been haveing this problem for about a week whilst using multiple browser (FireFox,IE and Opera)

I do maintenance on my PC often like defrag when needed , disk cleanup and virus scans and use CCleaner often

I recently did virus scan and found 4 or so viruses and got rid of them

Scanned for malware using Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware and found a few problems and took care of them

got rid of gamvance thing i had on there

I have minimal things load on startup of my pc

Any help with this problem would be great

Try running a ping to the sites that have trouble loading to see what kind of connection times you are looking at. I would also run a tracert to those sites to see if there are any places dropping the connection.

Thanks for the comment, Ill try running a tracer to the sites

I don't prefer the ping method, it's not a very good method to check on a web host server response rate, web server response on a ping request depends on many factors that are not controlled by a web host and most of the time you are hitting the wrong horse when you ping the web host’s, now days most web host do not host their website on the same server as their customers

I will use WebsiteGoodies.com

thanks for the help

You will want to look at where they are stopping. For instance when I tracert to yahoo.com I get this:

P:\>tracert yahoo.com

Tracing route to yahoo.com [209.131.36.159]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 172.30.210.1 --> my ISP
2 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.106.3 --> my ISP
3 1 ms 1 ms <1 ms 172.30.202.32 --> my ISP
4 14 ms 12 ms 15 ms 24.116.1.65 --> my ISP
5 16 ms 10 ms 11 ms 12.118.229.157 --> AT&T network
6 30 ms * 31 ms cr2.sd2ca.ip.att.net [12.123.215.198] <-- AT&T
7 30 ms 31 ms 33 ms cr2.la2ca.ip.att.net [12.122.31.10] --> AT&T
8 27 ms 32 ms 32 ms cr2.sffca.ip.att.net [12.122.31.134] --> AT&T
9 29 ms 27 ms 34 ms cr84.sffca.ip.att.net [12.123.15.250] --> AT&T
10 36 ms 32 ms 34 ms 12.122.136.93 --> AT&T
11 31 ms 28 ms 31 ms 12.86.154.18 --> AT&T
12 29 ms 34 ms 28 ms ae0-p140.msr1.sp1.yahoo.com [216.115.107.49] --> Yahoo
13 36 ms 38 ms 30 ms te-8-1.bas-a2.sp1.yahoo.com [209.131.32.19] --> Yahoo
14 29 ms 28 ms 29 ms b1.www.vip.sp1.yahoo.com [209.131.36.159] --> Yahoo

Trace complete.

We can see the different hops thru the tracert and we can also see what networks are being connected to as the signal travels from point A to point B. No matter where it's failing though, you need to contact your ISP with the tracert results so they can get their network admins to correct the problem either by re-routing the network traffic or contacting the ISP that has the loss of connection. Chances are that you are not the only person having this problem.
