There were problems that were taken care of last week
Uninstall it

• Click START then RUN
  
• Now type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK
  
• 
  Note: There's a space between Combofix and /
  
  
• 

Then try a fresh download

Did you inform the Helper at the French forum who is assisting you? Is it a HijackThis forum where you posted a log before being instructed to use ComboFix?

Yes, I told him, he is a tech from a HijackThis forum, he thought that there must have been work on the software Combifix. this is why I came to this forum .

Ok then make sure you respond back to that Helper and not ask for any other help elsewhere or do anthing other than what they advised you to do. Any modifications you make can result in system changes which may not show it the log you already posted. Further, following advice outside of that post may cause confusion for the Helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

I tried to uninstall it as you said and I get the same error message telling that Combofix is not compatible with Vista ant it does not get uninstalled ! I don't know what to do now...

Are you using a 64-bit Vista operating system? If so, please tell your Helper.

If not try this:

Please delete your current version of ComboFix and download the latest version from here - Save it to your Desktop. <-Important!!!

• Go to > Run... and in the Open dialog box, type: ComboFix /Uninstall
  
• Press OK.
  
• When shown the disclaimer, Select "2"

Hello,

Yes, I'm using a 64-bit Vista OS. I managed to unistall Combofix with ToolsCleaner2 and I re-installed it from the link you gave me but it's the same thing, same message : Combofiw is compatible only with Windows XP or 2000.

I wanted to copy-paste the message but I don't find the way to do it.

Please advise your helper as I don't believe CF will work on a 64-bit machine. He will have to try something else.

WOW64 is the x86 emulator that allows 32-bit Windows-based applications to run on 64-bit Windows but x86 applications are re-directed to the x86 \syswow64 when seeking the x64 \system32. For a more detailed explanation, please refer to Making the Move to x64: File System Redirection. Be aware that many of the tools we use for malware removal are designed for 32-bit systems and do not work or can give misleading results on 64-bit machines. Anti-malware scanners have problems enumerating the drivers and services on 64-bit machines so they do not always work properly. Since this is the case, any assistance offered may be limited.
