I'm trying to obtain a quicker boot time, but my Vista Event Viewer Window's System log keeps showing this following error,

<Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">
<System>
<Provider Name="Microsoft-Windows-LanguagePackSetup" Guid="{7237fff9-a08a-4804-9c79-4a8704b70b87}" />
<EventID>1001</EventID>
<Version>0</Version>
<Level>2</Level>
<Task>30</Task>
<Opcode>31</Opcode>
<Keywords>0x8000000000000000</Keywords>
<TimeCreated SystemTime="2009-11-16T14:26:24.856Z" />
<EventRecordID>269762</EventRecordID>
<Correlation />
<Execution ProcessID="1872" ThreadID="1876" />
<Channel>System</Channel>
<Computer>XPUSA-LT</Computer>
<Security UserID="S-1-5-18" />
</System>
<EventData>
<Data Name="Error">0x80070032</Data>
</EventData>
</Event>

How can I get rid of it? Yes, I've uninstalled and reinstalled all language packs, but alas, the error's still there.

:huh:

Tahnks for the research, Smithy. I've followed those instructions, but have no peace.

This seems to be a common problem. Also found this and several other entries which said the entry in the Event Viewer can be ignored (it may not be slowing your bootup to any great extent):
