Hi Guys,
I have what I perceive to be a big problem with my pc. I somehow deleted the necessary files to boot the computer. I have tried to boot in safe mode, but when I get to the screen to boot in safe mode and hit enter to boot it goes back to the gateway screen. I can get to the Bios Setup Utility screen also. Can anyone help? Please.
thanks

I have had a lot of luck with a program that "replaces" the Boot and ntldr files.

You will need to burn the iso to a CD and once you get it up and running you can replace thos files with some from a similar computer. Or use the boot CD every time.

I hope this helps.

Sounds like the userinit (spelling) may have been deleted.
