For some strange reason every since I started going online with my PS2 and having to disconnect my computer from the wall to make the IP address register. now when I get back on the internet I always have 5 to 7 updates. Even if I disconnect and reconnect 5 times in a day I still have multiple updates. Could that be the reason why when i try to go to espn.com or comcast.net the format of THEIR website is in a straight line and lined up against the left margin. I can't even do my fantasy football or anything please help. Everyone says I should use a wireless router so I don't have to disconnect anything but i do have a NetGear WGR614 v6 but it was connected to a dell I owned but now that i have a compaq laptop now and i don't have the cd that came with it nor do i remember any of the passwords or anything. So I guess i can't use it....oh yeah the dell laptop came with a printer also and since I have changed brands and I don't have the cd for it so it doesn't work either I am just SCREWED.......ONCE AGAIN PLEEASE HELP ME!!!!!

EDIT: Moved to a more appropriate forum
