Hello all,
I have problems finding drivers for two cd/dvd burners. They show up under device manager with yellow exclamation points. The burners in question are:
1. memorex dvd+-RAM 530L v1
2. DVDRW IDE 16x ( I believe it to be a Lite-on)
The computer is a Dell Computer Corporation Dimension 2400 running Windows XP SP3.
I have looked at a similar thread regarding one of these drives but was unable to solve my problem. So far I have tried uninstalling them from device manager and rebooting in hopes that plug and play would save the day and reinstall them. No luck. I also tried looking for the cd/dvd drivers on the dell website but did not find drivers for the burners I have.
Next I tried updating the chipset drivers, to no avail.
The drives light up and open/close normally. I've scoured the net for hours and I'm really at my wit's end. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
