I have a PC hardwired to a netgear wireless router and 2 laptops connected wirelessly.

I have files set to share on all three computers. Firewall (McAfee) trusting IP's

The laptops can share files between them both ways without problem.

The PC is complicated but I think this is how it is. I can grab a file from the PC onto the laptops but I cannot sent a file to the PC from the laptop. Also I can grab a file from the laptop to the PC but I cannot send a file from the PC to the laptop

Like this

Laptop-file send to-Laptop = ok
Laptop-file taken from-Laptop = ok
Laptop-file send to-PC = not ok - but Laptop-file taken from-PC = ok.
PC - file taken from-Laptop =ok - but PC-file sent to-Laptop = not ok

Hope this is clear.......what is my problem?

Have you tried connecting the laptops directly to the NetGear Modem/router and tried your same scenarios of file copying?

If you still get the same results, I would try disabling the McAfee firewalls temporarily and once again retesting.

Let us know your results.
