query regarding yahoo messnger

i am a parent.. i try to know what my eldest child is up to...

recently he knows i have installed a monitoring app on our home pc to monitor his yahoo messenger chats, now he chats from internet cafes or on friends pc.

is there a way i could monitor his chat from our home PC when he is online on an internet cafe pc?

i am just concerned... hes grades are dropping.


any help appreciated.

When it comes to internet, parents can install filtering software that can stop sites like porn, drugs, torrents etc. But when you start monitoring chat, it really makes teenagers angry. So I would suggest stop keeping an eye on his chats and talk to him.

In regards to the remote monitoring of the Internet cafes computers, I don't see that being feasible or permitted by the owners. They would have no way of knowing which machine or what time frame your son is there
