Hi all,

It started with Norton 360: wouldn't update, hasn't updated for 91 days now. I disabled Norton on startup and installed AVG, and now AVG won't update either.

System is bot-free XP Home SP3, approx three months old (i.e. Norton has never updated, even if it's a 90 day trial), I had a bit of trouble with the Automatic Updates (reregistering wups2.dll didn't help) but updated through IE>Windows Update eventually.

Anyone know what might be interfering with these update processes? Any other ideas appreciated!!
Thanks in advance

Edit: Moved topic from XP to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

For one thing, you shouldn't have two anti viruses on your system even if you have disabled one of them.

You can try a free anti-virus software, AVG Free or avast! home edition.
Actually, the most important anti-virus software is safe from malicious sites and software.
