Introduction Hi

Hi - Just introducing myself - I have a problem with my PC but am going to search through the forums before posting specifics. I would need to learn more about tools like combofix and how to remove rootkits and that is probably best done by searching.

ComboFix used incorrectly can damage your system and make it unusable. I recommend starting a topic in the HJT forums to have one of the helpers assist you with your cleaning.

Thanks Rigel. I agree I would be better posting my problem with a hijack this log but I wish to read up on everything here first before wasting time. I would not rush into using a tool like combofix before consulting anyone here but I would like to know more about it first.
