I have a HP 4000 printer that used to work on my computer but doesn't now. It is a shared computer at work and when I took a leave of abscence some new guy came in and screwed it up somehow. I don't know what he did, but I just went into work and it's not working. So I tried to reload the drivers...manuallly and through HP's setup wizard. WHen trying to load the drivers manually on Windows XP I kept getting the following error, "printer spooling is not running". Now I know the printer works because my bosses computer is hooked up to it as well. And it works for him. Any ideas on how I can get this back running? Thank you in advance.

Did you try reinstalling it...in the same manner that the working system reflects?
