can anyone explain to me what are the stats to consider when buying a new computer? For example what does the below stats means? Does RAM determine the speed which the compute is run? whats the difference between pentium and duo core? What does 2.6 GHz means?


FOR WINDOWS VISTA & WINDOWS 7
* Pentium IV 2.4 GHz / Athlon XP 2400+ or equivalent
* 1.5 GB RAM of Memory
* At least 3.5 GB of hard drive space with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content
* 128 MB Video Card with support for Pixel Shader 2.0
* The latest version of DirectX 9.0c

FOR COMPUTERS USING BUILT-IN GRAPHICS CHIPSETS, THE GAME REQUIRES AT LEAST
* Intel Integrated Chipset, GMA X3000 or above (GMA 3-series or higher).
* 2.6 GHz Pentium D CPU, or 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo, or equivalent
* 1.5 GB RAM (XP), 2 GB RAM (Vista)
