I have connected my wife's windows 7 laptop to the internet following the details as described by windows 7. The system used is home networking and I installed incredimail on her laptop while my desktop has outlook express. I did this without informing my ISP. My problem is that my email can be received and read on my wife's laptop and vice versa. By the way I am on ADSL and all I used was a 10 metre CAT 5E PVC UTP Patch Cable from my Adsl equipment to the Laptop. Any ideas how I can stop my wife reading my email and vice-versa. Thanks guys. |

You control what email is accessed on each PC when you set up each mail program.
Maybe, what you want to do is change the notebook's email setup to "leave a copy on the email server" rather than download it and delete it from the server? -------------------- |

Hmm. Do you not have to log in to retrieve your e-mail? If not, you should set it up to do so. Rather than storing the password on the computer, you should memorize it. Each of you should have separate e-mail accounts and passwords in this situation.
