I have an HP Pavilion laptop with Windows XP. During startup I get two error messages that say "hp wireless assistant is not supported on this machine" and "the instruction at 0x7c910ede referenced memory at 0x0000000. The memory could not be written." Sometimes I also get variations on the same error message, such as, "The instruction at 0x7c9108b2 reference memory at 0x00f11a40. The memory could not be written" My computer doesn't detect any wireless networks so I can't access the internet (I'm posting from another computer). My computer will play videos (with no sound) but not mp3s. I don't really know what to do. I'm not the most computer savvy person. I restore the system to a point before I began having problems, but that didn't fix the problem. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
