my system is very slow and freezing up. I know it needs to be cleaned but I don't know how to read the Hijack log. Don't want to delete the wrong thing.

In general it is better to just submit it to our trained volunteers and let them help you. Keep in mind that there us often up to a 5 day wait, depending on the volume of logs we have received, and the availability of our volunteers.
