I have Kaspersy 2010 on one computer and Avira on the other. Im not sure if Avira blocks it but I know Kaspersky does.

I love Kaspersky too much too get rid of it and I want too aviod disableing it every time I want too access shared files on the PC. Is thier anyway too add an exception too Kaspersky too allow access too Shared Files?

This site might not be talking about the same version but I am betting it'll get you headed in the right direction. I am assuming that the file sharing was working before Kas?
