I download a radio show as an MP-3 file on a daily basis and it is a 4 hour show, so I can listen to it at my convenience. Is there any way to make each hour it's own file so I when I upload it to my MP-3 I can pick which hour I will listen to?

Audacity will do it, and it's free. It's geared to audio file editing, though, and may be more than you need -- but it's pretty easy to use!

Thank you. It was just what the doctor ordered. It was a bit of a learning curve for me, but I got the hang of it. One minor problem is that the resulting files can only be exported as a WAV file, while I would prefer an MP-3 format. I downloaded the plugin that was supposed to allow for that, but I can't seem to make it stick. So more research is in order. C'est la vie, learning is what makes life worthwhile.
