Remove Bad Sectors

Hi there,

I have been looking around for best software/utility that can completely remove hard drive bad sectors.Maybe one could share his success on this.Thank you in advance.

Hard drive sectors cannot be removed...what occurs is that the system treats them as if they potholes and works around them.

If data files happen to be written to sectors which become bad, running the chkdsk /r command will result in an effort to move files from such...to good sectors on the partition/disk.
