Hi there. Although I have 190 GB of free space in my IOMEGA external Hard Disk, when I try to move a movie (1,2 GB) from my PC to the HD, the system says that I don't have enough space in the disk.
Do you know why can this be happening? and how can i solve it?
Thanks a lot

It could be because of the file system employed on the Iomega drive, although that doesn't make sense.

The file size for a FAT 16 volume is 2GB, http://www.ntfs.com/ntfs_vs_fat.htm.

If the file system is any version of FAT, I would simply convert it to NTFS.

Sorry but it doesn't work. It's really extrange cause I can save files bigger that 2 GB (*.avi) but when I try to copy certain kind of movies (*bin) it tells me that there's no enough free space. Do you have a clue what that can mean? Thanks
