Anyone know why whenever I open igoogle using ie8 ,the homepage opens with the Google logo and a plain blue screen only, no add ons .

Hi.
This is because you might not be logged in, because you don't have cookies enabled, or C, all of the above. Try Mozilla Firefox, too. I'm using it right now.
