Hi, I am hoping someone can help - pls be patient and bare in mind that my computer skills are very very limited!
Here goes - I turned my PC on today and the system was running slow - I finally managed to establish that the system was tryin to download and connext to a Nokia application and run Audiodeck. The only way to close these was with Alt/Ctl/Del. I then tried to uninstall the Nokia application (it was never used anyway!) and it would not let me. I am now getting a message which says
C/windows/winlogon/dll is not an executable file and down in the bottom of the screen it shows a blue tab which says RegSvr32.
I would appreciate some advice on what the problem is and how I fix it - pls pls make the replies as plain as possible - I am really sorry but my knowledge of PC's is turning them on and off!!!!

Hi Winger.
Welcome to BC.
Try REVO to uninstall the program -
www.revouninstaller.com/
RegSvr32(together with the name of the DLL) is what puts it in the registry, but I don't know why you are getting that message at the moment.
Let us know how you get on.
Good luck.

If you need to install that DLL to fix your problem, this will show you how. Click START then RUN to bring up the box -

If this is a new problem, have you tried doing a SYSTEM RESTORE?
Cheers
