I joined bleepingcomputer after my wife got hit by the FakeAlert trojan. She called me to say her computer had been infected and was wanting to update Alpha Antivirus. I rushed home from the grocery store and clicked cancel. Fearing the worst I ran a full system scan with Norton and started reading from my computer. Norton didn't find anything except tracking cookies. I installed Malwarebytes and it found the FakeAlert trojan I mentioned earlier. I may be a regular here for awhile. Then, of course, complacency will set in again. :thumbsup:
