<trouble65> oh, I'm just trying to get data copied from a 98 hard drive thats corrupt
[19:42] <trouble65> the only way I was able to see the files was in command prompt,
[19:43] <trouble65> prompt got closed and now I don't know how to get back to where I was in getting ready to copy to a flash ....

Hi trouble65, Welcome to the Bleeping Computer help forums.

I was rummaging through the lists of topics and notice that no one had replied to your thread yet. After reading your problem I got to thinking that you might need to re-post your question in "This" forum.

You should also add some information about your Operating System so that folks will know what they are dealing with Boo.

And stop using the code <brackets>, if you don't mind, and putting the time of [23:15] your post in your questions as neither of those are necessary nor do they contain any information needed to get help on this site.

If you want to quote something, high lite it first, then mouse over the bottom row of buttons, to the right of the smiley faces. Go to the forth one and click on "Wrap in Quote Tags"

Truth be told that kind of stuff, the way you did it i mean, <brackets>only serves to confuses a lot of people, and that code doesn't work on this site.

Hope that you get some help with that Hard Drive, I know what it's like to lose everything on one when it decides to up and die.

Oh, OK, I guess it could be. I don't know as I don't do chat rooms since I had one of my PC's destroyed over on AOL several years back. Thanks I'll keep that in mind should I see it again.
